The Dune series is abandonware, make sure to follow the installation guide to find the correct version.
While the original can be played on DOSBox, I'd recommend Dune Dynasty: It has a very faithful implementation of the original engine, with the addition of some modern controls like selecting multiple units at once.Don't worry about this one, it's not good.

The main difference other than platform is that TUC versions of these games require either Bibber's or Medstar's fixed Origin launchers if you want to use mods or launch arguments.
